Consent to opt in not required to purchase goods or services and will not affect your ability to receive treatment, claims payment, enrollment or eligibility. You may revoke your consent at any time. Communications sent via text message may pass through private and public networks with varying levels of security. Some networks may have taken steps to secure transmissions while others have not, which means that the privacy and integrity of a text message is compromised. Carriers may also have access to text message content, senders, and recipients. If you authorize us to send you texts that include protected health information (PHI), there is some risk that these texts may be compromised, and you acknowledge that these communications aren't encrypted and may be intercepted and viewed by an unauthorized person.
As these text messages may include PHI as well as information about your benefits and coverage, we recommend securing your cell phone by using a PIN or biometric setting (fingerprint, face, or iris) to lock your phone when you're not using it to reduce the chances of unauthorized individuals viewing information on your device.
